A MAGNIFICENT MACHINE BUILT FOR TINY PEOPLE
The Troika is swift, deadly, and glorious. Its lines suggest speed even while grounded, and its weapons promise honorable destruction from the heavens.
Naturally, I am forbidden to pilot it.
The aerospace technicians claim that, at 2.4 meters tall and nearly 130 kilograms, I “cannot physically fit inside the cockpit.” Yet somehow I am expected to cling to the outside of an OmniMech while lasers strike around me. This is considered perfectly reasonable.
I offered to remove the seat. They refused. I offered to remove the canopy. They became upset. I challenged the pilot to a Trial of Possession, but apparently winning the fighter does not make the cockpit larger.
Five stars for the miniature. One star for the insulting dimensions of aerospace cockpits.
