Shipping policy

Most US Postal Service orders placed before 10AM Central US Time typically ship same day (with the exception of Sundays & Holidays).

The same applies for UPS Orders, with the exception of orders placed after 10AM Central US Time on Fridays as they may not ship out until the following Monday (with exception to holidays that fall on a Monday such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.)

All Aries Games & Miniatures orders ship with tracking or customs information included. Up to $200 USD Insurance is included in all shipments! Additional insurance beyond $200 USD can be purchased after the order is submitted by using out contact form by clicking here.

Any claims made with the insurance on your package take time! International shipments that need to have a claim filed for insurance have a MINIMUM of a 40 day wait from the shipment date to file a claim, after that we are able to proceed with the claim.

As the customer, it is your responsibility to maintain watch on your tracking information. Not following the status of your package, and not knowing when the package will be delivered, is not Aries Games & Miniatures' fault. Lost / Stolen packages have a short window on how long you have to file a claim. As the customer it is your responsibility to notify Aries Games & Miniatures within one day if a package is not delivered. Failure to do so jeopardizes your ability to have the items replaced.

LOCAL PICK UP OPTION: We are an online only company, with no physical location, so pick up will be at a local spot for the safety of all involved....not the address listed on the site. We will email you to you to arrange a time & date that works best for us all.

PLEASE NOTE FOR UPS ORDERS: If you some how accidentally select UPS for a P.O. Box address...we will not contact you to switch your order to US Postal Service. UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes, and the only service we offer that will is the US Postal Service. If there is money due to us to ship the order, we will reach out. If money is due to you for the difference in the shipping we will automatically issue you store credit for that difference.

Sometimes the shipping system will automatically select a faster service for the same price, sometimes just a little bit more, and sometimes it can be cheaper (i.e. Ground Advantage over Media Mail). If it happens to be more than $1.00 cheaper, we will automatically issue you store credit for that difference.

Shipping will not commence until Payment has been received on our end. Using any E-Check type method regardless of what payment service you use or what your bank calls it (typically E-Check, ACH, Electronic Debit, etc.), can take 3-5 business days to clear (this does not include weekends or holidays). Until your payment moves from Pending to Received...your package will not ship.

Please note, Shopify does not send shipping information until the day the package is processed to ship. So for instance, if you purchase something late in the day on Saturday, and the package cannot ship out until Monday, you will receive shipping information on Saturday however the package will not physically ship out until that Monday. To see if your order has been processed for shipping, please view the status of the order in your Order List by going to your account settings.

PLEASE NOTE ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - Aries Games & Miniatures is not responsible for any Import Fees, Customs Fees, or Import Taxes owed at the time of delivery. These are assessed by your destination country and are payable by you the receiver due to your countries regulations for importing of goods across your border. These are not part of the shipping fees charged by US Postal Service or UPS, nor are they due by Aries Games & Miniatures at the time of shipping.

If you do not pay these fees, the package will be treated as abandoned by the shipping service and you will NOT be eligible to receive any kind of Store Credit whatsoever. We are unable to combine multiple orders for international shipments.

If you use a Forwarding Agent, rather than shipping directly to you, Aries Games & Miniatures is not responsible for any lost package after the item is delivered to the Forwarding Agent. Any lost packages will have to be handled directly with whatever Forwarding Agent you chose to use.

All international order must have a complete, full name listed! If you do not do this we will not ship your package as it will not clear customs. This is due to an event a customer caused who refused to take responsibility for not listing their full name and went on to blame us for that fact. We cannot guess what your name is so grow up and be an adult and list your full name.

International packages sometimes aren't scanned by USPS immediately upon arrival due to complex customs processing, different postal systems, inconsistent local office procedures, temporary service suspensions (like weather or transport issues), or the package simply not being entered into the USPS system yet (waiting on customs clearance). USPS tracking for outbound mail being shipped outside of the U.S. often only shows when it reaches the International Service Center (ISC), with a significant delay before it clears Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and is handed off for international sorting. These delays are not something Aries Games & Miniatures can resolve and you will just need to be patient for your package to show up in the U.S. Postal System and/or the country of destination. Also please note that USPS First-Class Package International does not offer any kind of "Missing Mail Search" like Priority Mail International does, so if you package is stuck somewhere and has not been scanned for a while, there really isn't anything we can do and is not a fault of Aries Games & Miniatures.

TARIFF NOTICE: If your country has a tariff placed against the U.S. imports, those charges are not included in your shipping quote. You are responsible for those charges when delivery is attempted. If your package is returned due to not paying those charges, or any other import taxes or fees, we will provide a Store Credit for the items on your order only minus a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges cannot be credited.

UNITED KINGDOM Customers - Please note that unfortunately due to the UK Government pushing for external countries to collect VAT on the customers behalf and then pay them directly, most U.S. companies...myself included, are no longer shipping to the U.K. unless the purchase is over (at the time of this writing) $275 USD in which case you as the receiver would be responsible for all VAT, import, and customs fees. This dollar threshold will change from time to time based on currency conversion. WE HIGHLY SUGGEST DOING A GROUP PURCHASE TO REACH THAT DOLLAR AMOUNT WITH YOUR FRIENDS!!!

GERMANY Customers - Due to VerpackG restrictions, we are currently not shipping direct to Germany (the amount of orders vs cost of participation is not cost effective). We highly suggest using a "Forwarding Agent" to ship your order to, who then would forward it on to you. Please note, we have no affiliation with these companies and you will need to contact them yourselves...

PLEASE NOTE - Media Mail can only be used for books such as novels, rule books, source books and the like. Selecting this method of shipping for ANY other products than books will cause delays in shipping your items and extra shipping fees will need to be collected before we can ship your items. Also if the package us returned to Aries Games & Miniatures due to no fault of our own (such as insufficient address, undeliverable, etc.), Media Mail charges Aries Games & Miniatures to receive the package back. You will be responsible for those charges. If not paid, those charges will be DEDUCTED from your Store Credit if one is given. 

TABLETOP TERRAIN ITEMS - We partner with Tabletop Terrain, the producer of several 3D Printed lines. Their Shipping and Return Policy differs from Aries Games & Miniatures due to being the manufacture, not the reseller, and as such, may offer different services and rates, as well as special shipping qualifications. Aries Games & Miniatures will ship to the address you provide during checkout, NOT other payment services such as PayPal, Apple Pay, or the like. It is your responsibility to make sure you select the correct address during checkout. We do not accept responsibility for any lost, stolen, or packages delivered to an incorrect address if you provide a different address during any other payment systems own settings.

Lost packages due to an incorrect shipping address, will not be credited. If the package returns to Aries Games & Miniatures we will contact you via the email address you provide on your account.

This website reaches out to the US Postal Service and/or UPS directly for Shipping Estimates. If there is a large overcharge on shipping due to a calculation error on their end (which could happen), or we are able to find a cheaper way to ship the same items with the same service, Aries Games & Miniatures reserves the right to issue Store Credit for the difference of the overcharge.
