Our most requested product is finally here! I am pleased to announce our new Turbo Dork Thinning Medium! A viscosity, rheology, and thixotropic modifying acrylic medium that "thins" any water-based acrylic paint with minimal dilution.
So what does that mean exactly?
Adding a small amount of this medium to our paints will help them flow easily through your airbrush, and they will leave fewer brush strokes when hand brushed. With Turbo Dork Thinning Medium's superior power, only a few drops of medium are needed to achieve the full "thinning" effect. Meaning you won't be over diluting your paints and losing coverage, as is the case with most other thinners. When combined with our Remix formula that debuted in January 2024, you should be able to reach full coverage with our Metallic and TurboShift paints in 2 to 3 layers.
I use this to thin citadel paints in addition to turbo dork. Easier than water, just tip it slightly and let a single drop fall out. Feels like it thins metallic paint like Steel Knights Grey better than water, the pigment doesn't separate out as much.
