This infantry is a new scale and new sculpt from previous Steel Rift or Solar Shift Infantry. We are refining the scale of the game and moving the infantry to be in line with 10mm scale.
It is intended that you put 1-2 of the non-standard infantry on each base to indicate which type of infantry that stand represents and add standard infantry (to a total of 4) to fill in the rest of the base. Models have a thin puck attached to their feet. Pucks can be glued directly to the base and basing material can be applied on the base and puck. You can also use a hobby knife or sharp clippers to remove the puck and glue the models feet to the base without the puck. This can be useful if you are preparing your bases separately or using bases with built-in scenic elements.
Rules Note: Infantry can’t be taken on their own, but can be paired up with other support assets such as LAS-Wing Transport VTOLs, Assault Vehicle Squadron, and Heavy Tank Troop (which does already come with infantry). For thos that purchased the previous version of the Infantry Support Asset Box, this set will replace the infantry in that set to update it to the new scale if you so choose.
