Like it s matching Warpaint, this Colour Primer is a light grey tone which is a perfect basecoat for historical uniforms and vehicles, and even chaff infantry of far-off futuristic forces. Ash Grey is a great alternative to Matt White for a more subdued Speedpaint basecoat.

My preferred spray primer brand. Army painter primer has more of a rough grainy texture once it gets on the model compared to colour forge, while I like because I feel like contrast and speedpaints run around less on it.
The ash gray is very similar to citadel eshin gray.
