Not a big fan of this one compared to Tamar Rising. Feels like it's too long with not a lot happening - I started skimming the history section before the end because of how dry it was, and it doesn't really suggest exciting game scenarios to play out between the 3rd SLDF and Capellans. Also, I was hoping for more information on scenarios to play with my Sea Foxes. Lots of political maneuvering by the Foxes described but not much to put into a game. If I played aerospace the Snow Raven maneuvering might have given me some game ideas.
Something interesting is the explicit reveal that there is in fact a sizable Republic Armed Forces remnant still around Terra in the year 3152, but for whatever reason this faction doesn't get represented on the BT master unit list for the current era. I have an RAF remnants army I'm working on, so a bright side of the otherwise somewhat dull book is finding out that my homebrew faction is in fact semi-canon after all.
