I've built three Atlas IIIs so far, and I have a weird love for and fascination with them. I know many people have built them without pins, but I pin the bejeezus out of mine, even the kneepads (it can be done!). The resulting miniature is generally pretty sturdy, and it looks great on the tabletop.
