Tamar Rising is a BattleTech sourcebook providing full details of the events in the former Clan Jade Falcon Occupation Zone from 3151 to mid-3152. Included are a full historical summary of events in that region of space, personality and unit profiles of key players; many of these appear here for the first time, along with game information to bring it all to your tabletop.
Useful, well-organized, easy to read. Almost entirely fiction + setting info on the Hinterlands region, but it does have a bit of rules content at the back for designing missions and randomly rolling up forces. Unlike hot spots hinterlands which covers the same region, it isn't disappointingly short.
