These base converters allow you to base Steel Rift models so that they can be used in hex based games as well as Steel Rift. The Converter footprint matches the standard bases included in HE-V , Chassis, and Starter Packs. 4 small tabs around the base mark the base quarters and help with precise rotations used by certain game effects in Steel Rift.
Magnet holes are 1/8″ (3mm) round. You may want to use a drill bit to ream out the hole if it’s too tight for the magnets you source. 1/8″ x 1/16″ thick (3mm x 1.5mm) rare earth magnets will fit in the holes and should be glued in so that they are registered at the top of the base plate and the bottom of either the base or the bevel-base insert. Magnets thinner than 1/16″ (1.5mm) can also be used but may have a weaker atraction.
