Special Announcement from Aries Games & Miniatures

Hey all...just a <insert sarcasm here> "small" announcement concerning Aries Games & Miniatures.

I've been considering this move for the last couple years, and after looking at all of the possibilities...I've decided to take Aries Games & Miniatures from just a side job, to my full time job. No more day job, no more answering to anyone other than myself & my kids.

There will be more expansions into other lines as we have already been slowly doing, expanding our current offerings to new games & systems, but also it allows me to be able to answer your messages & emails much faster!

While I already have some of the fastest turnaround times in the industry, these will get even better with SAME DAY SHIPPING in some cases (just depends on when USPS shows up)!!!

Yeah sure, there will be the occasional day where I am out with the kids, camping, hiking, etc. and packages will be delayed a day or something...but, that already happens now! It may take a couple weeks to fall into a rhythm but I'll get there as I do have some reorganizing to do that has been backed up for quite some time.

Anyways...although I am unbelievably nervous about this switch to being my own boss (I've never NOT had a day job since roughly 1990) because I have a family to feed and a house to keep over their heads...I'm also VERY excited as well. It will allow me to dedicate some time to the backend of the site, make small changes I've been wanting to do for years, and even update the site a little.

I want to thank several people, I know the list is long, but it could be oh so much longer than this. I know I'm going to forget someone...it is just too long, if so I apologize...

First and foremost...the overall community & customers! This move just simply would NOT have been possible without you doing what you do and having the passion you do for this game! As an old-school BattleTech player from 1985 myself...I'm quite happy to see this game making this kind of resurgence again.

Ray Arrastia, Blaine Lee Pardoe, Brent Evans, and the rest of the Catalyst Game Labs (list is far too long) for making BattleTech great again! (No...I'm not going political and am bracing for the MAGA jokes).

Anthony Scroggins for not just heading up the refresh of the line...but for so many years ago giving me permission to use the "Unseen Moon" Marauder as the backdrop of my site and the original work on the Aries OmniMech variants.

Mike Noe at Iron Wind Metals for always being there and doing what you do so well. You are a giant in the industry and one of the most well respected people I know.

To the WHOLE group at Camospecs Online, Ryan Peterson, Kevin Witt, Ross Hines, Joel Hardwick, and everyone else (some of you are also tagged below)...just keep cranking out those fantastic paint jobs that we aspire to do. Ryan...keep those videos flowing sir! Kevin, Dale, Ross and the rest...we'd love to see more from you guys! Todd Farnholtz...time to break out those brushes again sir! It's been too long!

Justin & Austin at Death Ray Designs for cranking out seriously great stuff and taking the risk of "doing your own thing" with Steel Rift!

Alex Clarke at Steel Warrior Studios for heading up a MASSIVE print farm that is clearly untouchable for quality and sheer volume. Now get back to work and ship my stuff sir!

Dale Eadeh & Mack the Maker at Hardware Studios for making some of the coolest mechs and buildings around!

A second nod to Dale, as well as Raymond White for working on a nice little surprise that will be forthcoming. Fantastic work all around guys...I'm sure it will be well received!

Aaron at DFA Wargaming for bringing so many rule variations and Battlytics reviews and more on so much of what BattleTech has to offer.

The whole WNRP crew for bringing Alpha Strike to the masses and putting yourselves out there to do so many events in so many places across the U.S., and for just being down to earth guys trying to help so many people.

Tuck Davion for traveling his butt off to record and get together with so many people in so many states!

Talon Games for being "that other Mech game" but it's so much more, and lead by an absolute great guy Jon Walker!

Last but not least...Derek Latimer for taking on the responsibilities of being my social interaction guy on Facebook a little over a year ago as well as just being such as MASSIVE resource of information to help the community over and over.

I could really go on & on...but you guys get the idea. Without all of you above, and so many more behind the scenes...this would not have been possible.

Keep your eyes open for some more exclusive Aries Games & Miniatures stuff coming out in the next few months!!!

Thank you all very much!
